  • We Love Weddings!

Our philosophy is "It is the bride's day". We are there for you and your groom. We believe you should get all of the photographs taken on this special day. You do with us. You get all the photographs in high-resolution files along with a print authorization that allows you to print the photographs anywhere you want.

You can use them in social media, print them, email them or make an album. Since you can do anything you want with them you can make an album yourself, hire a graphic artist to make one for you, or hire us to make one for you.

The important thing is capturing the moments and memories of that special day and being able to use these images as you want.

Plus you get two wall prints as part of the package. See the price page for full details.

Mississippi Wedding

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. A quadruple-bypass on January 18 put me out of action for a good while. But we’re back! Saturday, March 18, 2017 we had a wonderful wedding in Oxford, Mississippi with Kaylie and Matt plus family and friends. My thanks to my wife, Mary Ann who helps me on almost every wedding and a special thanks to photographer/friend Randy Hayden who backed me up in case I didn’t have the energy for an eight-hour event. We made it fine and Randy shot some great photos and we’ll share some later. But right now here is a short selection of the over 2000 images I captured. Thanks for inviting me to Mississippi!

Engagement Photographs

I love taking engagement pictures and bridal pictures for upcoming weddings we are photographing.  Here is a picture of Rachel and Alex from their session on a beach … make that … on a golf course!!  We like to have fun with photographs and people.

There are times when I recommend the couple use someone else for these photographs even though I like taking them.  That is when they are getting pressure from a family member or close friend who has a new camera they bought and is getting into photography and would love to do their wedding photography.  I suggest they have that person do the engagement and/or bridal photographs and tell the friend/photographer that they have selected another photographer for the wedding but would love to have them take the engagement photographs.  The friend gets to participate and if the pictures don’t turn out right they can reshoot them again, and again if necessary. Plus the friend can enjoy the wedding day as a guest.

November Jonesboro Wedding

Understanding available light photography is crucial in photographing a wedding ceremony.  You are working with the light that is available without adding to that with a distracting flash.  In my opinion, being able to capture these important moments which will never be repeated is the mandate for any wedding photographer.  Here are two of the many images we took from the back of the church during Rachel and Alex’s ceremony in Jonesboro. We loved doing their photography … and we’d love to do the same at your wedding. Call us today at 870-236-2275. Check out our Facebook Tim Rand Photography page.

Those special moments

Wedding days are special.  We love being part of them. We love being able to capture special moments of that day … and there are so many at a wedding.  Here are two images we were proud to capture as the wedding photographer at this Paragould wedding.  The bride and groom exchanged letters which they read before the wedding.  Sara is reading the words written by Wes and her expressions tell the story.

Congratulations, you’re engaged!

You’re engaged.  Congratulations!  What next?  Select a date, a place, a minister, and a photographer.  Do that now.  Food and flowers, entertainment and the dress can come later.  Get where you want, when you want, and who you want now.

January will bring bridal shows.  They are great.  You will get to see tons of vendors in all categories.  However, a thousand other brides will also see these same vendors.  If you plan to marry on a Saturday keep in mind there are only 52 Saturdays in a year.  And certain Saturdays are more popular – probably for other brides for the same reason they are more popular with you.

Since I am a wedding photographer let’s talk about that.  I love photographing weddings.  I will only do one wedding a day because it is an all day event for me. I’d love to photograph your wedding. If you like what you see on my site and want me to photograph your wedding call me now and book me now before the bridal shows.  That way we with both be happy :).

This fall was the first time we had seen rings delivered by a drone in a wedding ceremony.  It was a nice and successful delivery!
